Beta Key and client bug

Hi,i received my beta key with email,downloaded the client and when i come to this website and enter my beta key in the account setting it does not work.

It pops a message saying this beta key is invalid or it is already in use.So i wanna ask this:

In the account settings i just copy paste all 4 key phrases in the 4 boxes and the press preview,right? thats all i should do?

And then after this,when i ran the client after the updates completed i got a black screen client doing nothing.And it remains black every time i open the client.

I am newby in this game and forum so i would appreciate any help given.Thanks in advance.

hey SMouts, looks like you got a messed up beta key. Send me an email: jmejia@kizstudios.com I'll get you set up with a new beta key.

Also if you could send us your gamelog.txt and output_log.txt files to support@kizstudios.com The files will be in your SmashMuck_Data folder.

SMouts you need to get the current installer. We updated the engine and what you're running may be too outdated.

Use this: http://www.planetmuck.com/smashmuck/downloads/SmashmuckSetup.exe

Also, make sure your video and directx drivers are up to date.

We'll check on your account and see if your key is attached now or not.

Awesome game!!!Thx,it works.Btw i did not have to type the beta key after you send me this.It is ok right?I mean you fixed it.
