We've given thought to doing something like this but the problem is some champions do way better by themselves than others. Example: Take Zert and have him going up against a Melody or Blitz. These support Champions would be [i]"LOLPwned"[/i] by Zert. Winning the game would be more about picking the right champion over being skilled.

make a few new champions for 1vs1 2vs2 mode then...?

The aim is to have most champions be viable in many combinations in all game types.

5v5/3v3 death match game type is far more likely than a 1v1 or 2v2, and is probably more fun.

They should add a 3v3 arena mode with some map-rune control and nothing else, pure PvP without having to capture shit. Would be awesome !
