Blitz charges into the arena with guns blazing and he doesn’t stop until he’s the last one standing. This lightning quick critter lives for the roar of the crowd. His frantic energy can be infectious, spreading to his teammates and propelling them to victory.
Bio:

Before his days of SmashMuck glory, Blitz was a servant at Simon Welk’s compound in the tropical Moku Islands. He adored his boss, but when Simon threatened to flush him down the toilet, Blitz became obsessed with revenge. His chance arrived when a rotary cannon fell off a supply truck as it left the compound. Blitz smuggled the weapon into his dungeon home and strapped it to the back of his best friend – a silent, surprising speedy creature named Beast. Armed to the teeth, the two friends headed out to crash Welk’s big event. Just as Simon was unveiling a giant statue of himself – a gift to the ungrateful islanders – Blitz opened fire. He tore the monument to pieces while the islanders cheered and chanted his name. Impressed by the display of destruction, the Game Master recruited Blitz for the SmashMuck Tournament. From that moment on, Blitz has lived for the roar of the crowd.

Strategy:

Blitz is a ranged support champion. He specializes in assisting fast, ranged champions. His speed and mobility makes him difficult to pin down. Because he can shoot and move, he should never stop moving. Smart players will learn to fake out enemies by constantly changing direction while continuously attacking. When using Blitz, avoid enemies that can snare and hamper your ability to escape.

Blitz can use Overdrive early in a fight to maintain his target’s health for the duration. Overdrive also increases the movement speed of the target, allowing them to pursue an enemy or retreat from a losing fight. Blitz can use Glob It On to add additional elemental damage to his and nearby ally’s basic attacks, increasing his damage potential significantly for short periods of time. He should use this just before a big fight is about to begin and when nearby the most allies. Glob It On has the added benefit of providing resistances to both physical and elemental attacks to affected targets. Blitz can use Light Em Up to deal a massive amount of damage in an area over a short period of time. This skill should be used when enemies are stunned, slowed, or clustered in order to inflict maximum damage. Try to avoid opening a fight with Light Em Up because enemies will learn quickly to avoid its area of effect.

Run and Gun is what makes Blitz a truly mobile weapon platform. While he shoots, Blitz can continue moving towards or away for his opponents (at a reduced speed), giving him an extra few shots on his enemies as they close in. Keeping moving with Run and Gun and using Overdrive will always give Blitz a better chance of escaping melee while still harassing his attackers. Swift Strike is effective in allowing Blitz to consistently pelt enemies with attacks. This allows him to benefit more effectively from bonuses that add additional damage to each attack (like Glob it On). Swift Strike allows for leniency on missing attacks: the missed shots are less impactful than missing with a single, slower attack.

Blitz should be constantly moving and always seek to avoid being slowed or caught in melee. Blitz can do a fair job at chasing down targets, but will likely be outpaced by the faster champions. Avoiding knockout with Blitz should not be a problem with Overdrive’s speed boost and healing. As long as Blitz does not get cornered or snared, he should provide fantastic support for his team.
